HOW TO: Reuse Candle Containers for Extra Storage!

In today's blog post, I'm going to show you step by step on how to re-use candle containers by cleaning out the wax for extra, but cute storage!
Step one
First of all, take your finished candle and pour some hot, boiled water into the container. Then wait for about 5-10 minutes for the wax to melt and detach from the container.

Step Two

After, you can see that the wax is softened by the greasy texture floating on the surface. This is then the right time for you to scoop out the wax with a spoon.

Step Three

After the wax is scooped out, there will be some excess wax left in the container. As a result, fill the container with more boiled water and leave it for about 2-3 minutes.

Step Four

There still will be a bit grease or wax stuck on the container after you poured the water out, so rinse the container with water and start to scrub the excess off with a scrubber and soap, as it works the best. Sponge can be an alternative too.

Step Five
To be able to get the tag off the container, rinse it with hot water and it should be easily peeled off.

Step Six
Next, wash the container with a sponge and soap to make sure the container is sparkling clean.

Step Seven
Finally, just dry the container off with a towel.

There you go,you now have a crystal clean container!

REVIEW: Sally Hanson Insta-Dri Top Coat

The Sally Hanson Insta-Dri Top Coat is definitely worth the price of £5.99 at the drugstore. I've never tried any Sally Hanson product before, but this product has stole my heart with its magical power. The thing that is absolutely incredible about this top coat is its fantastic formula. I could not believe how fast it dried after I applied it over my nail colour. It was instant! Not only it the speed if its drying process is rapid, it also made my nails look lovely with a layer of shine and smoothness, which at the same time gave me the perfect, long lasting manicures that has lasted for an entire week without any chip at all!

My Top Summer Nail Polish Picks!

The spectacular summer is finally here! If you're ever on the hunt to find your perfect summer nail polishes to add to your collection? Just keep reading!
Summer is all about wearing bright, fun colours, and that include nail polishes! If you're not into wearing bright colours on your nails, well, you better step up your game for this beautiful season! 'Cause those vibrant shades on your nails can make them look absolutely stunning, and as well as adding an extra pop of colour to your outfits.

Here are my top five favourites summer nail polishes! ( All drugstore!)

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish - 'Pow Green'. £3.99.

These are not in particular order, but this one is certainly my favourite!

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polishes - 'Pink Boom'. £3.99.
This pink is super vibrant, but not yet neon. If you don't want to wear it alone and want to spice it up, you can always wear an another colour as an accent. My recommendation as shown above is No7 'Peachy Keen'.

No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polish - 'Peachy Keen'. £6.00
I feel like this is the sort of nail polish you would wear in spring, but this can also be a beautiful, toned down nail colour to wear in summer, if you much more prefer a natural colour.

Model's Own Pastel Collection Nail Polish - 'Lemon Meringue'. £5.99
Wearing a lovely, bright yellow shade on your nails never hurt right?! Personally, I like pastel yellows a bit more, just because it suits my skin tone better. However, you can always try out even brighter or even neon yellows!

In additon, I think matching the yellow nail polish up with a blue colour can look incredible on your nails as they contrast. Miss Sporty - 456 is a cheap but excellent sky blue choice from the drugstore, which only costs £1.99. Its formula is on point too.

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish - 'Green with Envy'. £3.99
Last but not least, this gorgeous green will look perfect once its paired up with No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polish - 'Paradise Love'! Which is another one of my favourites, especially in the summer time!

No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polish - 'Paradise Love'. £6.00

REVIEW: Rimmel London Colour Rush Lip Balm - On Fire

Lip crayons have been a such large craze all over the beauty market, and almost every brand are starting to follow this huge commotion after the popular release of the Clinique Chubby Sticks. So, I decided to try out what the craze is all about.

Last week, I went to purchase the new Rimmel London Colour Rush Lip crayon that came out a few months ago. But this time, I decided to pick out a vibrant colour instead of a rosey nude that I always tend to go for, as I want to break out my shell and start to wear bright colours on my lips for summer as vivid, bold colours are quite a trend right now. The colour I picked out is 600 On Fire. I did not get the chance to swatch it in store, so I did not realize how vibrant the colour actually is until I tried it on. The colour is a bright rosey red that can be worn as a great statement to your outfits!

Something that I really enjoyed about this product is how smoothly it applied and its great pigmentation, which intensifies its radiant colour even more! Also, the finish if this lip crayon is quite glossy, which gives you this beautiful effect and definition to your lips. Moreover, something that surprised me within this product is how incredibly long it lasted! This lasted till about 5 hours , even through eating! This was something I was exceedingly impressed about.

Another thing I liked about it is how the fact that they've made it retractable, which for me is very versatile as I don't have to worry about it running out any time soon! So, basically it's just like a lipstick but in the shape of a crayon!

The only con within this fantastic lip crayon is that it does accentuate the chappiness on your lips if they're dry. So, I suggest you applying a generous coat of lip balm beforehand to ensure that your lips look perfect when the colour is applied. Not only the lip balm underneath can perfect the bold look, but it can as well tone the bright colour down by applying the Nivea Lip Butter underneath, which will at the same time leave you with a gorgeous, glowy finish.

This product is retailed for £5.99 at the drugstore which personally, I think it's extremely affordable.

This lip crayon comes in a wide range of 12 stunning shades for you to choose from. Here's a link for you to check out if you're interested.
