REVIEW: Rimmel London Rita Ora Nail Polish - 'Breakfast in Bed'

Hi everyone!Today I will be doing a review on a new nail polish I have from the new Rimmel London Rita Ora Collection that just recently came out. This collection really attracted my attention especially this colour, because I've been looking for a perfect mint nail polish  for a long time and when I saw it, I instantly thought this is the one.

You can get this nail polish anywhere where Rimmel London products are sold, it's priced at £3.69 at Boots and Superdrug if you live in the UK. First of all, I'm in love with their packaging, I think it's absolutely adorable with the touch of the cartoon picture of Rita Ora on the lid ,which makes the bottle stands out even more from the crowd.

Next, let's talk about the formula of this nail polish! Honestly, I don't think this has the best formula, it is great but not amazing. The brush is quite big, so it is excellent to use for people who have big and long nails like me and also it definitely applies smoothly, however I found that sometimes it brought a little dusts to the brush when applying it which created a little bumps to my nails, and that was something I wasn't so sure about. Moreover, this nail polish applies with a thin coat which gives you freedom to build up to different opacity, for me, I applied it with 2 coats. Now, when I'm writing this blog, it has been 1 week since I painted them, and I'm super impressed with the amount of time they've stayed on my nails only with the tiniest chips ever! I used the Bourjois base coat and the Maybelline Top Coat.

Moving onto the colour of this nail polish! This colour is called ' Breakfast in Bed ' which I think it's a cool and unique name. Like I said, this is a STUNNING mint green. Mint greens along with other pastel colours are really trendy right now and they're my favourite colours as well, because of the girliness I see in them and how they emphasis spring extremely well. From the photo of this colour on my nails above kind of makes it look like it's blue, as it does contain a blue background to it. So obviously, there will be two different opinions on whether it's blue or green.

Finally, as a conclusion to this, I recommend this nail polish to you, it is overall a wonderful nail polish for such a cheap price at the drugstore, if you're still not so sure, go for this gorgeous colour that will make your nails look divine! Or just go for other colours they have in the collection. Of course, I definitely will be trying out some of the other nail polish they have in their collection and do reviews on them in the future!

REVIEW: Maybelline Baby Lips

Today, I'm going to do a review on the Maybelline Baby Lips as they are one of the very popular products Maybelline have brought out, and also one of mine! So, before I get started, I'm going to talk just a little about the history of those awesomeness in the tube!

Maybelline Baby Lips were first launched in Japan 2010 and were soon brought into the US as they were super well loved by the beauty lovers. However, there were no plans for them to come into the UK until the drugstores here in the UK have realised how eager people want them to come here, and how popular they really are. As a result of this, they were finally launched in the UK in August 2013, which is actually not very long ago, and personally, I'm extremely glad that they were brought into here.

First of all, they are priced at £2.99 at drugstores which is very affordable but you can get them for a cheaper price at places like ASDA if you live in the UK.
Packaging wise, they're very satisfying and very adorable! They've cooperated the colour really well to fit with the names of the lips balms and to contrast the logo with the background. This then have definitely made them to attract the buyers's attention like how they attracted me, and also made them to stand out from the crowd.

The formula is great. It's really easy to apply just like any other lip balms. You can glide them on ever so smoothly to moisturise and give a lovely layer of colour. They are claimed to give your lips intense care & 8hr hydration, conditioning care for lips that feel baby soft. However, as I've used them for a very long time, I can honestly say that they sadly do not last up to 8 hours, from my experiences, they only last up to maximum 1 hour. But, you can always bring them in your bag or your pocket and apply them for however many times you wish during the day!

They come in 6 different ranges, 3 of them are Hydrate, Repair, Mint Fresh which are clear lip balms containing SPF 20 to give your lips protections, and the other 3 are Cherry me, Peach Kiss and Pink Punch which are tinted lip balms. The colours and the range are definitely very limited here in the UK compare to the ones they bring out in the US. The colours I own Peach Kiss and Cherry Me.

Peach Kiss is a nude colour with a slight shimmer faintly going through it, which adds a very natural colour to your lips, but giving you a beautiful shine at the same time. I think it's my perfect colour to wear on a lazy day or just a simple day out. Furthermore, one of my favourite things about them is that they all contain an incredible fruity scent in them. The scent are exactly how the name describes it as. For example, Peach Kiss smells so delicious just like a peach in a tube!

Cherry Me is a sheer rosey/plum colour which definitely allows you to build up to more opacity. It does not only add a sheer layer of this gorgeous rose colour to your lips, which I think will look incredible to wear all year around, but it also keep your lips moisturised. Plus, this lip balm smells wonderful like a cherry and I could not stop smelling it!

Regardless of its lack of lasting and consistency, I still love them so much due to their awesome formula and the incredible colours! So, I give the Maybelline Baby Lips a overall 8/10.

REVIEW: Rimmel London Vinyl Lipgloss - Be Famous

Since the lovely spring has arrived, glossy look is quickly becoming a trend for the season. So today, I'm going to do a review on Rimmel London Vinyl Lipgloss - Be Famous.

This can be purchased in any drugstore for £5, which is pretty decent for a brilliant lipgloss like this. Colour wise, I love it. Because it's spring, I like to wear bright and fun colours and this is prefect! This is a peachy coral colour which adds a gorgeous pop of colour to your lips without being too extreme or over the top. In addition to this, you can also apply it over a coral /rose lipstick to add an extra layer of colour, which could make it stand out even more.

On the other hand, the only con is that after this lipgloss is applied onto your lips, it can be a little sticky and then it can lead your hair to stick onto it, which can be very annoying at times. Nevertheless, it has a fantastic formula. The pigmentation is great and the consistency is awesome as well!

As the conclusion to this, I rate it 8/10 and I really recommend it to everyone!

10 Things That Make Me Happy!

In this post, I'm going to talk about the 10 things that make me happy! I'm so grateful of what I have, but the things I'm going to be talking about  just instantly make me feel so much better especially when I'm in a bad mood.

( THEY ARE NOT IN PARTICULAR ORDER! )

#1  Food - Oh my gosh, I absolutely love food, they are so delicious. Whenever I feel down, eating food will make me feel instantly better!

#2  Youtube - I've watched Youtube for years, I find watching different sort of videos on there so entertaining for me, especially beauty/girly videos! My favourite youtubers are Pewdiepie, Beautybaby44 and Meghanrosette.

#3  Films - Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm absolutely addicted to watching films! I'm the kind of person who likes films so much more than TV shows or dramas. My favourite films are Catching Fire, The Hunger Games and Now You See Me!

#4  Sunshine  - I live in the UK, and unfortunately sunshine and gorgeous weathers don't appear in UK, especially in winter. However, there has been a lot of beautiful sunshine and warmth in the UK recently and I LOVE it! Whenever I'm under the sunshine or in a nice weather, it'll constantly put me into an awesome mood!

#5  Nail polishes - I'M A NAIL POLISH ADDICT. I absolutely adore nail polishes especially the different range of colours and effects they come in and of course I adore wearing them as well.

#6  Peace  - It might sound a little cheesy, nevertheless when there's no catastrophes or horrible things happening in the world, I will feel so much better. I love peace and I would love to be somewhere where there's nothing but peace.

#7  Lying on my bed & read - I love reading, but lying on my bed plus reading makes it a million times better. It feels so comfortable and relaxing, and makes me feel like I'm beyond cloud nine! Every morning or night, I would just lean on my pillow and read for hours!

#8  Music - Music is just a general thing, so, more specifically, Taylor Swift, Macklemore and Katy Perry! I find their songs so inspirational and I think their songs are AMAZING!

#9  Pastel colours - It might sound weird to some of you, but whenever I see any item that is a pretty pastel colour , I go crazy! I think they look extremely cute and stunning all year round!

#10 Drawing - Of course, how could I talk about the things that make me happy without mentioning drawing! I love anything that involves creative arts, such as, designing, drawing, painting,  decorating, crafting, and DIY.

Nail of the Day + Review : Maybelline 'Pink Boom' & No7 'Peachy Keen'

This is my first Nail of the Day! The nail polishes I painted on my nails are Maybelline Pink Boom and No7 Peachy Keen on my index finger! I love both of these colours, since spring is gradually approaching in the UK, I decided to wear some bright colours on my nails and they are the perfect colours for spring or summer, they just look absolutely stunning!

The one on the right is Maybelline Pink Boom and the one on the left is No7 Peachy Keen. I LOVE both of these colours especially when I use them as a combination! Not only they are stunning colours to wear, but the formulation of them are great! I got away with just one coat as they went on  smoothly and opaque!

Art Tools And Supplies For Beginners #1 - Sketching

In this post, I'm going to talk about the basic art supplies and tools that beginner want to use for sketching.

First of all, you definitely need paper. There are tons of different paper to choose from. But to start off, you can sketch on basic papers or you can go for a sketch book that has better quality papers. You can have any size of paper you want, either A5, A4 or A3. I personally use A4 paper the most. In the picture on the left, it's the A4 sketchbook I use. The brand is Winsor & Newton and I have the one with 50 sheets. In my opinion, the papers inside aren't the best quality but they're better than the basic A4 printing papers. You can get those sketchbooks in any art store and they are usually priced at about £5, which is a pretty decent price for a fantastic sketch                                                                                       book.

Secondly, pencils are your best friends for sketching. If you are a beginner, you can choose to start off with a basic HB pencil that you write with. However, if you want to get the most detailed drawing and the most precise shading, using varieties of sketching pencils will be great! You can find sketching pencils in any art store and they ususally come in a set which vary from the lightest shade of 4H to the darkest shade of 8B or 12B.
The order of the shades are - 4H, 2H, H, F, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 8B, 12B. The price of sketching pencils vary a lot depending on the brand and the quality. The brand of the pencils I'm currently using is Daler Rowney and the price they are usually sold at is £3.40.

Thirdly, what you'll need is a rubber which makes your life a million times easier! Nevertheless, if you want to take a step ahead to make your art work stand out even more. You can use the soft kneaded rubber which can add beautiful highlights to your shading.
Next, you need a sharpener! Of course, what else do you need it for other than sharpening those pencils! Just grab any sharpener that will do you the job for you and your problem will be solved!
You may wonder, 'why do I need brushes for pencil sketching?' Well, the purpose of brushes is not only for painting but also smudging. Brushes are excellent tools for smudging, they will help you to blend your shading perfectly to create a beautiful, smooth finish without your art work looking cakey just like using a make-up brush! The brand of brush I use is Royal Taklon and I definitely recommand getting them as they have amazing quality brushes for either painting or smudging!

Lastly, the final tools I suggest getting are blending stumps. As you can tell from the name, the purpose of them is for blending your shadings. They all come in different sizes and you can use the larger ones to blend in larger areas, and the thinner ones to blend in more detailed areas. Not only they can be used for pencil sketches, they can be used for blending in colour crayons and oil pastels as well. You can get blending stumps in any art store, and they are usually sold at a very cheap, decent price. I got mine pack of 3 for only £1 and they work extremely well!

REVIEW: Maybelline FIT Me Concealer

Hey guys, today I'm going to do a review on Maybelline FIT Me Concealer. You can get the concealer in the drugstore or anywhere where Maybelline products are sold. This concealer is priced at £5.99 at Boots and Superdrug, which I think it's a pretty decent price for a good concealer. First of all, the packaging of this concealer is not anything special due its simple and standard design but I really like the concealer itself. The concealer has a runny and also a creamy texture which makes it very easy to blend with either you fingers, a brush or a sponge. Personally, I like to blend it with my fingers as it's the easiest for me. Usually, I apply the concealer under my eyes to cover up my dark circles and on the bridge of my nose to cover up some blemishes I have. Plus, the soft applicator it comes with  is excellent and very easy to apply on blemishes as it only gets a small amount of concealer on each time which you can build up if you want to!

This concealer gives you a light to medium coverage and it does brighten up my under eye area a little and as well as covering up my blemishes successfully with a natural, dewy finish, which is perfect for a school day!

I wear the shade '25' and it fits my skin perfectly! But I do recommend getting a shade lighter just for covering your under eye discolouration as it will help to brighten it up, and make you look more awake!

On the other hand , the only con about this concealer is that it doesn't have an awesome consistency, it doesn't really last you the whole school day without touching up as it starts to wear off after approximately 4 hours. However, coverage wise, I love it! So, I give this concealer a overall 8/10!
